There are those moments when you look at yourself and think “What the hell am I doing here?” or “Wow, look at me, I made it!”. Those moments in which you watch yourself from a third person perspective. Your own point of view, but from the outside. As you interact with your surroundings. And you love/hate what you are seeing…
I’m not talking about how others see you but how you see yourself… from another perspective. Being aware of the place where you are, how you did to get in there and what you are doing in that exact moment. It may exist one person who has never had one moment like those, maybe in the last 3 weeks I had many of them. Almost everyday.
I guess there are different intensities of those “third person moments”. The highest ones, as when you become a mom/dad or when you are on a plane to you-don’t-know-what. The lowest ones, when you are in the wedding of your girlfriend/boyfriend’s third degree second cousins. But all of them make you think about yourself, about your life and the way everything is going right now.
Don’t waste those moments.
It is good to be aware of the world that is surrounding us, but it is great to be aware of how you are doing in that world. Your victories, your failures, your goals… If you don’t like what you are seeing, only you have the chance to change it.
And now, to keep the magic of those moments, let’s forget what I said about those… third person what?…
